Oksana FedunyszynClip from "Cupid"
Oksana Fedunyszyn has been a working actress
for over 20 years. She started in Chicago theatre and moved on to doing
lead Shakespearean women, such as Ophelia, Helena and Mistress Ford at
American Player's Theatre in Wisconsin. Oksana has appeared in Chicago
with Remains Theatre in "Mad Forest", at Halsted Theatre Centre in
"Lips Together, Teeth Apart" and lead roles in "Woman in Mind", "Blythe
Spirit" and "The Importance of Being Ernest". Oksana then moved on to
do feature films, commercials, industrials and voiceover. Some film and
TV credits include The Fugitive, My Life, The Package and most recently
Early Edition, Cupid, Turks and the British made-for-TV film March in
the Windy City, as well as leads in the independent films, The Best
Man, Charming Billy and Dreamers . You've heard her voice on the radio
and she also teaches Film, TV and Commercial acting at Roosevelt
University. She recently came back to theatre in the starring role of
Muriel in "Tiny Island" at The Next Theatre in Evanston. And for the
past several years she served as 1st Vice-President of the Chicago
local of Screen Actors Guild.
