John Green has supported his "creative life" acting in
commercials, industrials and voice-overs. He has appeared on stages
across the U.S., Scandinavia and western Europe. In Chicago, he was
twice nominated for and won the Jeff Award for Bob Falls' production
"Of Mice and Men" at Wisdom Bridge. Featured roles in TV include All my
Children, One Life to Live, Early Edition, The Untouchables and
several made-for-TV movies. John is a writer-in-residence with
Chicago Dramatists and his plays have been produced in New York,
Chicago, regional theatres and Paris. John's play, "Twilight Serenade" was
produced by Red Hen Productions, directed by Act One's Ted Hoerl and published by Dramatic Publishing. John's screenplay of "Twilight Serenade" is presently in development with Top Dog Productions in L.A. His Jeff Award winning play, "Liquid Moon," opened to rave reviews at Chicago
Dramatists and was published in New Plays From Chicago. It was subsequently produced at Bloomington Playwright's and The Barter Theatre in Virginia, where it was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in literature. |
