Jeremy Lee Cudd started in the theatre as a musician, playing drums/percussion for musical productions in the city of Atlanta. He performed as an actor for the first time in the summer of 1995. Jeremy graduated from Georgia State University with a B.A. in English Literature and a Theatre minor. He worked as an actor and teacher in the Atlanta area for six years with companies like the Alliance Theatre, Actors Express, ART Station, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, and Soul-stice Repertory Ensemble. He was also artistic associate with Soul-stice Rep and spent a couple years as their education directory, web designer and dramaturg. In 2004, Jeremy left Atlanta to start his graduate studies at Penn State University. He graduated in 2007 with his Master of Fine Arts degree. The focus of his actor training at PSU was Meisner-based Practical Aesthetics under the guidance of master acting teacher and Chicago native Jim Wise. He also studied Voice and Shakespeare in London, England; Film and Television Acting in Toronto, Ontario with David Rotenberg at the Professional Actors Lab; and Directing with Joseph Ziegler at Soulpepper Theatre, also in Toronto. Jeremy has been teaching for over eight years in a variety of forums: undergraduate university courses, theatre camps, community education, touring workshops to public schools, and private coaching. Jeremy moved to Chicago in October of 2007. He is now an actor, director, and teacher in the Chicago area.
