Act One Faculty

Deborah Smith is a British born Canadian Actor new to Chicago and thrilled to be here. Deborah trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) in London, England and has performed in London, Montreal, Toronto and Chicago with her most recent performance at The Victory Gardens Theatre. Deborah was founder and Artistic Director for The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival, and Co-Artistic Director of Ottawa Lunchbox Theatre. She is an Artistic Advisor for Artistic New Directions in NYC. Deborah is also a proud member of ACTRA (The Alliance of Canadian Cinema Television and Radio Artists). Her film work has included working with such actors as Delta Burke, Gerald McRaney, Andie McDowell and Ellen Page, just to name a few.
